Ah, yes.  She has a way with words.

If I didn’t have to get up at 5am in the morning to take my mom to the airport, I would start writing about the camping trip that Dawn and I just took.  However, it looks like any sort of recap will have to wait a few hours.  In the meantime, though, enjoy this picture from the trip:

    If there is one thing that I got from my father it is the ability to tell a story. There is one thing you can always bet on when reading one of my stories, if I say it was 12 inches that means it was probably 3 and in the spirit of Edward Bloom one day my child will speak these words at my funeral:

    In telling the story of my mother’s life, it’s impossible to separate fact from fiction, the woman from the myth. The best I can do is to tell it the way she told me. It doesn’t always make sense and most of it never happened… but that’s what kind of story this is.
